As promised, the Session Notes from the “Using Cinematic Language Elements in your Video” session that John Herman and I did at Podcamp NYC on April 7, 2007 have been posted as a public Google Document. Thanks to everyone who came and participated in the discussion. If you prefer, the notes are also available as a PDF document: PodcampNYC -Cinema_Lang_Notes.pdf
I have been raving about you since Saturday. I truly enjoyed you, John, and the reptilian/mammalian brain concept. It has been a while since I divided thought and action in this fashion.
Your resources were very helpful. Sight Sound Motion by Zetti is on it’s way to my home now. I purchased it from Abebooks. The 2007 edition was $73, no shipping. I also bought Michael Wohl’s Final Cut Pro. Even though I am dying to get a camera NOW, I will listen and get my 3 minute stories together first. I will however, purchase my MicroTrak. It seems to be part of the podcaster’s standard operating electronics.
Thanks again. I hope that you will be in Philly and that they give you a projector.
