Elissa Mintz (Editor, Additional Videography)
Elissa is a freelance videographer and editor and produces videos for GrowingWisdom.com. In 2005 she ventured into documentary filmmaking with a short piece called All Night Long: Zydeco in New England. She is a former software technical writer with experience creating interactive online training materials. She can still remember the day when, as a teenager, she saw The Seven Samurai on a Janus Films/public television program and realized the world would be alright someday. She received the same information reading the passionate writings of film critic Pauline Kael, who, in Elissa's cosmology, is definitely a principal deity, if not the Supreme Being Herself. A love of traditional musics and dance keeps her occupied when she's not shooting or editing. Elissa has a B.A. in English Literature from Wellesley College.
