Equipment
As a student in Documentary Project Studio, you will have access to a range of equipment for completing your project. We will negotiate resource availability among ourselves in order to do our best as a group to make sure everyone has what they need when they need it, if there are conflicts, that’s part of the class experience, figuring out how we can help each other succeed in our endeavors.
All equipment check-out and returns will be handled through MassArt Audio Visual Services (AVMS) located on the third floor of the Tower building. Contact them to make reservations at 617.879.7160. Summer hours (May 10 through August 31st) are: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Standard check-out for a piece of gear (or kit) is one week. Special consideration will be given to Documentary Project Studio students in the event someone needs something for more than one week and it’s not in demand by other students.
