Your seminar was definately down and dirty practical web video know how that introduced me to the wonderful world of blip.tv! If I had known about blip.tv months ago I would've saved myself so much work going through so many subpar substitutes for the video on my blog. And now I feel like I can show my prospective clients the kind of quality video that they will see in their edited DVD, not the pixelated poor quality video I see so often on the web.

I hope I'll see you again at the next Pro Video show...can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve. Oh and next time...make it 5 hours!

[...] If you’re interested in exploring this topic further and you live in the Boston area, I’m doing a session called “Champagne Production Values on a Beer Budget” at the 17th Annual Pro Video show on Saturday, March 10th at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. More info is available in my previous post about the show and the two sessions I’m doing there. [...]

Chuckle! I guess I was thinking along the lines of Dom Perignon Champagne vs. Budweiser Beer, but I did not want to use trademarks :-)

Likewise interested. I have to say though, regarding your second talk (<i>Champagne Production Values on a Beer Production Budget</i>) - good Beer costs more than bad Brut. And don't tell me there's a better champagne than Brut.

[...] I talked about the two seminars I’ll be doing at the 17th Annual Pro Video Show coming up in March, “Delivering Video on the Web” and “Champagne Production Values on a Beer Production Budget.” I also did a little show and tell on how to improve the reception of the Belkin TuneBase FM (a device for playing your iPod through the FM trasmitter in your car) using some copper wire with an alligator clip on the end in order to attach it to the gooseneck of the TuneBase, which yields better reception and less interference from other cars. I’m not sure if this mod changes the antenna characteristics in a detrimental manner, I’m no RF engineer, but, so far, so good. [...]
